"In the yogic culture, Shiva is not known as a god, but as the Adiyogi or the first yogi – the originator of yoga. He was the one who first put this seed into the human mind. According to the yogic lore, over fifteen thousand years ago, Shiva attained to his full enlightenment and abandoned himself in an intense ecstatic dance upon the Himalayas."
His first disciples were "seven celebrated sages who are today known as the Saptarishis, and are worshipped and admired in Indian culture. Shiva put different aspects of yoga into each of these seven people, and these aspects became the seven basic forms of yoga.
The Saptarishis were sent in seven different directions to different parts of the world to carry this dimension with which a human being can evolve beyond his present limitations and compulsions. They became the limbs of Shiva, taking the knowing and technology of how a human being can exist here as the Creator himself, to the world.
Whatever dimension of existence you are in right now, you can go beyond that – there is another way to live. He said, "You can evolve beyond your present limitations if you do the necessary work upon yourself." That is the significance of the Adiyogi." (Sadhguru "Adiyogi —the First Yogi")
From the very beginning of my journey in yoga I was interested in "something profound" that is not told in ordinary classes. I was looking for the very knowlege that completely transforms a person as a being and ones life, as a path. It seems, I found the "this very knowlege". A path that will lead a person to a completely different level of development. Breathing, movement of the body, inner sensations - all become ONE in Surya Kriya.
I like everything very much! After the first meeting feels like we are together forever)! The teacher Raah was very accessible and attentive. I am very pleased that the personal physical acquaintance with Isha Yoga began precisely with such a warm comfortable team in Moscow!!! A huge thanks to the organizers! Huge gratitude to the messenger of the ancient culture and philosophy. I thank you with all my heart.
I am very grateful for the yoga classes I took Raah. It's amazing! I exercise every day. Often I understand the system of my body and experience joyful peace of mind. I have a lot more focus in my system. Namaste
